As an architect, ‘passing on’ a carefully nurtured project into the hands of the Builder can potentially be a fraught and perilous experience. I have learnt, however, that I don’t need to have any concerns if that builder is Clinton from Rosebuild. I can rest assured the project is in good hands. Clinton, without exception, shows a great deal of respect for both the architect and the owners intentions and always goes to all lengths to achieve these intentions. Clinton and his sub-contractors and tradesmen were at all times friendly, helpful and unfailingly meticulous and caring in their work. My wife and I were very pleased and grateful that none of our fairly frequent changes of mind were ever any trouble to them. And we also received excellent ongoing advice on various items, which added to the quality finish, practicability and type of our new home. Communication with Clinton was excellent; we always knew where we stood cost wise and project wise. And, something which is so rare these days, the site was always clean and tidied each day, and particularly at job completion. All in all, the entire exercise was an experience which my wife and I felt very comfortable with. We are very proud of our new home and really enjoy the many examples of excellent workmanship which surround us. Our visitors have also commented very positively on the design and workmanship without being prompted.

From my experiences I believe Clinton’s attention to detail is what sets him apart from most tradesmen. His attention to detail is evident in all aspects of his operations:
- When initially discussing the job and required finish- you know he knows what you expect to be delivered
- His expectations in respect of skills and work ethic from other tradesmen he employs on the job are no less than he expects of himself – the bar is set to a very high standard.
- As the job progresses he will readily discuss with you any aspects that may need further thought or that have a visual impact of the outcome.
- Each stage of the job finish is true perfection – level is level, square is square and materials, joists and fastenings are finished to exact standards.
The final outcome is a professional result you can stand back and admire not only now but for many years to come.
